 Always asked Xu to take off his nerdy glasses before taking picture with me. Look at his eyes, he cant focus already due to high power! Lol, around 800! Omg..so blind, I guess he was feeling dizzy when taking picture with me without glassess. Pity his eyeballs,so tired. haha *evil gf*

 Yesterday korean food for lunch, his favorite seafood taofu soup, no picture because not our first time dining here. lol we get used to it already so skip the food snapping part. 

 Ok, I forced him to take picture without glasses again. He doesnt like to be in the picture and hate me asking him to take a picture for me T.T

Infiniti

We finally got our car! After returning to the car showroom around 3 times, finally the paperwork is done today. Money flew away again~

 Nice car? I dont think Infiniti is available in Malaysia because I dont have much idea about the brand. But anywhere, they said this brand has same rank with BMW..wow?

 After all, we came to this restaurant to have our dinner. This place is famous for its steak- 

Texas Road House. Very cowboy feel huh!

They have the same concept with TGI Fridays, the crew will sing or should i say rap to the birthday girl/boy. Look at them, they are clapping hands and doing a little dancing.

 Peanuts free flow..lol..and I forgot to take a picture of the rolls. The best rolls ever! soft and sweet!

 I was attracted by this graphic and I thought it would taste nice but..

 Here it is, looks pretty thou. I didnt even finish half of the glass )= wasted

The Duck & Bunny

Just back from brunch with the brunch kaki. This time, I decided the venue and im very satisfied with the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Once i stepped into the restaurant, I saw a small white mirror on the wall which impressed me because i thought this would be a simple breakfast restaurant with limited design. Then when I turned into the dining hall, here it is! It is a small house but the design is really what im looking for in my future home. I like white furniture, some more it is English antique style. I love it!

This is the bar, a really small bar. There is a drawer where the bartender standing, and inside the drawer, there are cupcakes display! I ordered 3 to go and I haven't eat it yet so no pictures at the moment. 

 Look at the chandelier, makes the cafe look so grand and classy! I will keep all these photos as my reference in choosing furniture next time when i own an apartment!

My order - The Duck & Bunny Roll, which is the restaurant signature i guess. Norwegian Salmon roll served with chopsticks. They probably wanna make it looks like sushi. Healthy eaters should order this because i need to add some salt and pepper onto it =/ no doubt it tastes fresh!

I know the portion of my dish is really small right so i added up a carbonara pasta. This is very salty thou =.=' because of the cheesy is really very cheesy. I didnt finish it anyway, feeling sinful now  =(

Las Vegas Day 1 (Thanksgiving trip 2012)

A picture says it all. Yup! Im going to blog about the trip I went last year. I didn't blog about any vacations in US in my previous blog so now I wanna rebuild all my happy memories. This picture looks like I was in Paris because of the gorgeous Eifel Tower but there are many landmarks/themes in Las Vegas. They are so real and you probably don't feel like leaving the sin city!

We booked our flight with priceline which includes air ticket + hotel. So it is kinda cheap to do so instead of booking a hotel separately, less than $1k for 2 person (5 days 4 nights). We departed from Boston Logan airport so we had to travel to Boston by PeterPan bus earlier on that day.  It was not a direct flight to Vegas, we had a few hours transit time at Detroit Airport, therefore, we came to a restaurant. This restaurant is consider a semi self-service restaurant. Customers are required to make their order on the ipad. There is 1 ipad on each table.



The menu and illustration are pretty clear, we didn't meet any difficulties by ordering ourselves.

After that, just swipe our credit card and our order is complete! This method is very efficient as we don't have to wait for the waiter for ages to take our order.

Besides that, there is a gentle reminder to the passenger in case they missed their flight. The flight number and gate is clearly stated in the screen. BB loves this restaurant and blamed me for stopping him to make a second order =/

Back in US

Hello Providence, im back in US after the fruitful 2 months holiday! Well, it's time for me to go back on track. Right after the night I returned from KL, I felt homesick and missed my family & friends. I thought I would have missed US so much and can't wait to come back but no. Probably because of this time, I have more pressure than before. I am a fresh grad, in other word, an unemployed.

I shouldn't have delayed so long in looking for employers or should I say I must turn off my holiday mode now. I had a few vacations after my graduations which allowed my body and soul to relax. So then I just applied a position in Hilton 2 days ago and got an interview today. I was able to answered all the questions the assistant manager asked me but I can feel that my oral is very bad. Studying in US didn't improved my English but my Mandarin! Why?! because all my friends around me are Chinese and we speak Mandarin, that's why my Mandarin is more fluent now. LOL

By the way, I will watch more American drama from today onwards.
